One year on from their wedding day, Áine and Connor Quinn, have found their perfect home and feel like everything has come into place at just the right time.

Originally from the Cityside and Magherafelt, the couple had been living separately with their families, saving for their future together. Just one year after tying the knot, they marked another major milestone:

moving into their brand new turnkey home at Beech Hill View.

“We put the deposit down seven months earlier, and from that point on, the process couldn’t have been easier,” said Áine. “Everything was so smooth – it honestly felt like it was meant to be.”

Áine, a teacher, and Connor, who works in the Civil Service, were first-time buyers who had started their house-hunting journey considering resale homes. But after looking around, they quickly realised a new build was the better choice.

“There was just too much work needed in the resales we saw,” Connor explained.

“With Beech Hill View, everything was done – we could just walk in and start our life together.”

What truly stood out to the couple was how seamless the buying process turned out to be. Working closely with Ciara from Donnybrook Estate Agents and Claire from Mortgage Solutions, they found themselves guided through every step with minimal stress.

“We honestly didn’t have to do much at all. Ciara and Claire just made it so straightforward,” Áine added.

The excitement built gradually as construction progressed and their home began to take shape. “We enjoyed every part of it,” said Connor. “Dealing with Ciara was great and the site team were really helpful – it made the whole experience even more positive.”

When they finally got the keys at the end of June, the moment was both surreal and satisfying. “It was a real feeling of accomplishment,” Áine recalls. “We now have somewhere to call our own, a place that truly feels like ours.”

Word-of-mouth played a part too – the couple already had friends living in the first phase of Beech Hill View, which gave them extra confidence in their decision. Now fully settled, they’ve embraced the comfort and freedom that comes with having a home of their own.

“It felt a bit weird at first, just the two of us in this beautiful new space,” Connor admitted. “But it’s our own space, and that freedom is brilliant.”

There’s no ongoing list of DIY projects or renovations hanging over them – just a calm, modern home where they can relax, host friends, and plan for the future.

“We’ve well and truly settled in,” Áine smiled.

“It was the best decision we could’ve made.”
