For Lauren Curran and Keith McGuinness, July 25th, 2024, marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter as they moved into their beautiful new Braidwater home. Together for three years and originally from the Cityside, the couple knew early on they wanted to settle down and create a life together in their forever home.

“We looked at so many options,” says Lauren. “We even considered refurbishing a resale, but ultimately decided on a new build. Being able to choose everything we wanted made all the difference.” Keith adds, “With a turnkey house, everything is ready and convenient. Doing up a second-hand home would have been so time-consuming and costly.”

After hearing glowing recommendations about Braidwater, the couple contacted Donnybrook Estate Agents. From there, the process was seamless. “We spoke to a mortgage advisor, viewed the show home, and fell in love with the style we wanted,” Keith shares. “There was only one left, and we felt so lucky to get it.”

For Lauren, the selections process stood out as a highlight: “It made everything feel so real,” she says. “We loved watching the progress, from the foundations to the final touches. The drone updates on Facebook were amazing, we even saved screenshots of our home’s early stages!”

Since moving in, the couple couldn’t be happier. “It’s been a big change, but in the best way,” Keith explains. “We’re finally putting money into something that’s ours. Renting felt like wasted money, but now we’re investing in our future.”

The couple found the Braidwater team to be exceptional. “Kevin was brilliant during the handover, walking us through every detail,” Lauren notes. “Everyone made the process so easy, and stress free.”

Lauren and Keith describe the moment they received their keys as “surreal.” “We felt like children on Christmas morning,” Keith recalls. “This is our home, and there’s nothing like the pride and joy of knowing it’s all ours.”

Now, after six months, it already feels like they’ve lived there for years. “Driving into the development still feels new, but the best part is coming home, to our own home,” says Lauren. “It’s the best decision we’ve ever made.”
